eddie stephens

Partner

Eddie Stephens, a sixth-generation Floridian, is a partner in Stephens & Stevens, PLLC, and one of Palm Beach County’s most respected family law attorneys. Board Certified in Marital and Family Law, Eddie specializes in high-conflict, high-asset divorce litigation. He has earned the AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rating by Martindale-Hubbell, reflecting the highest standards of professional excellence and integrity. 

With more than 25 years of courtroom experience, Eddie focuses on complex domestic matters including equitable distribution, business valuation, child support and alimony, parenting plan disputes, relocation, post-judgment litigation, same-sex family issues, and prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. Having tried hundreds of high-conflict divorce cases in Palm Beach County, Eddie brings unmatched strategic insight and steady leadership to every client. He also oversees a dynamic team of attorneys with diverse experience levels and billing rates to meet a wide range of client needs. 

Eddie is widely recognized for integrating trauma-informed practices into his advocacy—an approach featured by the Palm Beach Post highlighting his commitment to understanding the emotional and psychological impact of family conflict on both clients and children. This perspective deepens his ability to guide families through litigation with clarity, compassion, and long-term stability in mind. 

As a divorced father of two, Eddie understands firsthand what is at stake for the families he represents. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Center for Child Counseling, Inc., a leading organization in trauma-responsive care, and on the Board of Governors for Leadership Palm Beach County. 

Eddie’s community impact has been recognized through multiple honors, including the Family Law Section Alberto Romero Making a Difference Award (2017), the Leadership Palm Beach County Leadership Excellence Award (2018), and the Families First of Palm Beach County Harriet Goldstein Award (2019). Beyond the courtroom, he is an author, lecturer, and devoted community leader who supports numerous civic and charitable initiatives. His personal interests—Jiu Jitsu, yoga, cooking, philanthropy, and time with his family—ground him. Eddie is happily married to Jacquie and the proud father of Christopher and Matthew. Together, they call Palm Beach, Florida home.

caryn a. stevens

Partner

Caryn A. Stevens is a Partner at the law firm of Stephens & Stevens, PLLC in West Palm Beach, where she focuses her practice exclusively in the areas of marital and family law. Prior to practicing law, Caryn spent over 12 years working in the mental health and counseling fields, as a mental health counselor in private practice, as a counselor for the Department of Children & Families, and later as an Elementary School Guidance Counselor. Caryn is a graduate of Florida State University, where she earned her Bachelors degree in Psychology, and her Masters and Specialist Degrees in Counseling & Human Services. Caryn received her Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University, and received pro bono honors for her volunteer legal work.

In her prior work as a mental health counselor, Caryn had the unique opportunity to assist thousands of children, families and couples through difficult life circumstances, which allows her to bring a unique and compassionate perspective to the clients she represents. Caryn is a passionate advocate for her clients, and a skilled litigator in the courtroom.

In 2021, Caryn was honored with the prestigious Alberto Romero Making a Difference Award from the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar, recognizing her outstanding pro bono services and significant volunteer community activities that improve the lives of Florida’s children and families. Caryn is a graduate of the Leadership Palm Beach County Class of 2019, and currently serves as a Co-Chair of the Leadership GROW program which empowers high school juniors to expand their leadership roles and build a foundation of involvement in the community.  Caryn has also served as mentor with the Women of Tomorrow Program for the past six years, mentoring at-risk high school women to live up to their full potential.

Caryn is a native South Floridian, and currently lives in Palm Beach County with her Husband, David, and their adorable Mini Aussie, Emma. She is a passionate fan of the Florida State Seminoles, and in her spare time loves going to the theater and traveling the world.

Sarai Glaze

Associate Attorney

Sarai joins the firm, eager to leverage her advocacy skills and compassionate approach in family law matters. Most recently, Sarai dedicated her practice to representing veterans exposed to asbestos, working as a plaintiff’s attorney to help them secure the justice and compensation they deserved. This experience further honed her ability to compassionately guide individuals through complex legal challenges and advocate for their best interests.

Sarai earned her Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law, where she developed a strong foundation in legal strategy and advocacy. She graduated magna cum laude from The Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in history and a certificate in leadership. Originally from Long Island, New York, Sarai has embraced the Florida lifestyle, enjoying hikes, concerts, volunteering, and spending time with loved ones.

Noelle Stone

Law Clerk

Noelle Stone is a Florida native and a licensed attorney in New York and New Jersey. She joins Stephens & Stevens as a law clerk while she awaits admission to the Florida Bar. Noelle earned her bachelor’s degree in legal studies from Florida Gulf Coast University, where she was selected as a Newman Civic Fellow for her commitment to civic engagement. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School, where she was a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Honor Society and was awarded membership to the Order of the Barristers for excellence in oral advocacy, trial skills, and legal writing. Following law school, Noelle served as a law clerk to the Honorable Patrick J. Bartels in the Family Division of the Mercer County, New Jersey Superior Court. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time at the beach with her family, surfing, and knitting. Noelle is happy to be back in the Sunshine State!

Emily Golisch

Senior Paralegal

Emily Golisch has been a paralegal since 2001, focusing solely on family and marital law since 2013. A Long Island, New York native, Emily relocated to South Florida after graduating high school. She received her undergraduate degree and completed her paralegal studies at Florida Atlantic University. 

Emily has a vast knowledge and understanding of the ever-changing state and local laws, rules, and procedures associated with family law. She handles nearly all aspects of every case, helping to keep the clients’ costs down. Her positivity and likeability are assets when considering the often-toxic nature of family law. She greatly enjoys helping clients during difficult times of their lives and watching them grow and become happy, healthy, and whole again. 

In her free time, Emily enjoys the arts and sciences. She frequents museums, the theater, concerts, and theme parks.

Frank Block

PARALEGAL

Before joining the Stephens & Stevens team, Frank Block worked for years in banking, administration, and operations. Frank provides unique, concierge level service to both clients and colleagues. In previous roles, he has helped create guidelines and procedures for companies, strategize for success in marketing, and implement best practices for teams working towards long-term goals.

As a Paralegal, he provides case support by drafting and filing documents, facilitating communications between the attorneys and their clients, and working with the team to fill any gaps and make deadlines. 

Frank is a native Floridian, having grown up in the West Palm Beach and Lake Worth areas. On weekends you might find him at the movie theater or a local Mom-and-Pop diner.

Hyacinth Sawyers

Paralegal

Hyacinth Sawyers, a native south Floridian, is a paralegal with Stephens & Stevens.
Hyacinth received her Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Florida International University in 2017, and continued her education receiving her Paralegal
Certificate in 2019. Hyacinth has a background working in parks and recreation, and in
customer service, including management. She relies on this wealth of experience
working with people, and uses those skills every day as a paralegal in family law.

Outside of the office, Hyacinth loves to spend her time traveling, being an “outdoor
princess,” attending concerts, watching sporting events and games, or soaking in the
sun at the beach or the pool.

MARIAN SAUNDERS

Legal Assistant

Marian Saunders, a New Jersey native, received her undergraduate degree in marketing and management from Montclair State University.  In 1983, Marian relocated to South Florida and began her legal career as a legal assistant focusing solely on personal injury law.  In 2014, she became a paralegal in the areas of probate litigation and commercial litigation and simultaneously supervised a broad litigation calendar.   At our firm, Marian happily oversees our extensive litigation calendar and assists with various overflow projects.

Marian is bilingual in English and Hungarian.  In her leisure time, Marian enjoys traveling inside and outside the United States and spending time with her family (especially her mom, daughter and son-in-law) and her friends.

Latasha Wynds

RECEPTIONIST

Latasha is the newest addition to our Stephens & Stevens family, having joined us at the end of 2024.  She is the first face you will meet when you visit our firm. Latasha was born and raised in Florida, and currently lives in Palm Beach County with her family.  She has an extensive background working in medical offices and with patients for over 23 years, with the last 13 years spent working as the main medical office receptionist at a busy multi-doctor practice.  In her free time, Latasha loves to sit by the beach, travel, and spend time with her family.  She is excited to venture into the legal field, and to continue to use her incredible people skills and passion for helping others.
